ChristianaCare Wound Care at Elkton provides technically advanced, surgical and non-surgical outpatient care to heal wounds that resist conventional therapy. Capabilities at our wound healing center include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which can greatly improve healing and reduce healing time for some patients.
The Wounds We Treat
We provide care for chronic, non-healing wounds that have not shown improvement in four weeks or have failed to heal within eight weeks. Our wound care treatment includes:
- Diabetic ulcers.
- Ulcers on ischemic limbs (poor circulation).
- Pressure ulcers due to immobility.
- Venous stasis leg ulcers.
