Roger Wu, M.D. brings commitment and compassion to his practice as a board-certified gastroenterologist and internal medicine physician who has been a member of the ChristianaCare team since 2013. In his current role as a gastroenterologist, he works with adult and senior patients to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the digestive system, including celiac disease, esophageal diseases, diseases of the stomach, inflammatory bowel syndrome, and diseases of the rectum and colon, among numerous others.
Dr. Wu earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD, and completed his internal medicine residency training at the University of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh VA Medical Centers in Pittsburgh, PA. He next completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, and a moonlighting fellowship in gastroenterology at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. Upon graduation, he joined the ChristianaCare team in 2013 as an attending gastroenterologist at ChristianaCare Union Hospital in Elkton, MD.
Dr. Wu is deeply excited to continue his career with the gastroenterology team at ChristianaCare as a gastroenterologist and to provide the highest quality medical care to his patients and their families. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
