The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology department at ChristianaCare Union Hospital would like to thank you for letting us take care of you. The staff consists of Registered Nurses and Radiologic Technologists and we will be in communication with you fromthe time your provider orders a procedure to the days following your procedure.
We use sedation, “conscious sedation”, for many of our procedures to ensure that our patients have their pain/anxiety relieved during the procedure. Please call our caregivers with any questions, comments, or concerns. Your specific pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions will be given to you during an interview process when one of our nurses calls you.
We perform many cardiac and radiologic procedures using Cat Scan, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy, as well as Cardiology, to best take care of you.
