When cancer is your diagnosis, make ChristianaCare Union Hospital your choice for:

  • Screening and detection
  • Inpatient/outpatient care
  • Infusion Therapy Center
  • Cancer Resource Center

At ChristianaCare we are committed to providing state-of-the-art cancer care close to home. We offer screening and detection services for some of the most common cancers including disease of the breast, colon, skin and prostate.

Inpatient and outpatient services are offered at ChristianaCare Union Hospital and through our association with ChristianaCare’s Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute & Radiation Oncologists.

Inpatient and outpatient cancer program services are staffed with nurses who are certified and specialize in oncology. In addition, all nurses in the outpatient infusion center are certified in chemotherapy, biotherapy and oncology.

A full-time, dedicated social worker helps patients and their families with questions about community resources, insurance coverage, support groups and more.

Infusion Center staff members provide intravenous (IV) infusions and therapeutic injections, such as chemotherapy, intravenous antibiotics and blood transfusions.

The Cancer Resource Center is a volunteer-run service that provides patient education and support. Volunteers are available to visit patients during the course of treatment.
